Hi, my name is Pete Ritter. I am the proprietor and heart and soul of Animal House Pet and Home Care.

My wife Colleen and I, along with our three cats, arrived in Orinda over seven years ago. After living in several cities in Canada and the United States we settled into this wonderful area. We have enjoyed this special place and it seems like the perfect home for Animal House.

  
       
  After spending thirty successful years climbing the corporate ladder, it was time for me to make a change. While growing up, we always had pets so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. For years, I have enjoyed caring for my neighbors’ pets and homes when they were out of town, so making this transition from the corporate world to creating Animal House was a natural one for me. I decided to create a business out of my hobby of taking care of animals, something I love to do!    
    These days I can’t wait to go to work!    
  My first priority in creating Animal House was to provide superior customer service so that you can leave home knowing that your pets and your home will be well taken care of. Our goal is to provide service that is a direct reflection of the attributes that brought me success in the corporate world...
